Added a new thing to my forum today. Man it was hard work on the brain.

This will allow users to add streaming video and sound (real, quicktime and Windows Media) to their posts and works for both Internet Explorer and FireFox.


Real, Quicktime, Windows Media and Google video Too streams can now be added to people posts.

Added a random image rotator today. Started a child board of 'make me laugh' so that members can submit funny images and I can upload them to a folder and randomly they show on the home page.

So cool.

OK I have finally got a CAPTCHA (Code Verification) to work on my site.

It is one I have tried before.

Now the good thing is I can turn off verification email so that it is more user friendly. Now they just enter the captcha code to register. I don't have to worry about potential members getting the verification email through their Spam blockers.

New Links and Contact pages

There is now a new links page. If there is somewhere you like and would like to add it.. it can now be done...... Add your own.(these will be moderated) I hope to add a rating structure and link aproval, just as soon as I find out how. lol

Also I have added a contacts page.. so now I can be contacted from the site with ease.

I've made it. 11 days ago I joined SMFTopsites. Im so rapt that in 10 days I have made it too 2nd best in the list. Don't know how long I'll get to stay there but It makes it all worth while to achieve it.

Just added a new members email security modification.


User Email System

Replaces email links in profiles with link to form to send email to that person.
Prevents spam bots from harvesting user emails.

Admin's can see email links in profile.
Form not shown if user has email hidden.

Ohh and one last thing before I forget *phew*. There are now nearly 600 games to play.

And last but not least, I've added a topsite list. So you can add your very own banner to the list. All I ask is that you added the topsite voting button to your site. Another free service from GameSocket.

Well, hi there haven't been in for a while. But I have added lots in the past 2 months.

I have tottaly revamp the whole site. Installed a new theme from Dragon Talk Forums. Changed the logo abit. If you are after some of the best hacks for your SMF forum then SMFHacks is the place to go. And very helpfull at both those sites.

From SMFHacks I installed a great mod that gives my members colour ranks, Snr members are red, newbies are brown etc. You can make them whatever colour you like.

Also installed SMF Archive
Adds a lofiversion of your forum which appears in SMF Archive.

This is what it creates>> GameSocket Archive.. So if the site is offline, people will be diverted here as its hosted on SMFforfree.com

And the other big mod I added was Global Headers and Footers. this just adds headers and footers to every page works on all themes. No php coding knowledge required just insert your html code and you are ready to go! Adverts or News through out the site.
